The Challenge
Private Car Services was (past tense) a high quality, professional London based chauffeur company. They came to us with the intention of redesigning their 15 year old website. But as is common with these kind of projects, we realised there was a lot more work to do.
What we did…
1. BRAND STRATEGY
The first thing we did was conduct an in-depth brand strategy to give us a sense of the brand’s perceived place in the world. We looked at competitors, customers and USPs and identified a single persona, let’s call her Sue, as the the company’s key target customer.
2. naming & branding
Next we came up with a fresh, new name for the business which encompassed the brand strategy, was distinctive and most importantly, appealed to Sue. The name we chose was ‘Blackwing’. We then designed a fitting logo, business cards and letterheads.
3. BRAND ASSETS
The next stage was to gather all the raw materials needed to create the Blackwing website. We sourced suitable stock images from image libraries, created custom icons and wrote an engaging brand narrative, always with Sue as our main focus.
4. web design & build
The final stage in the design process was to create a stunning website. We built the website on the Squarespace platform and optimised it for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
The Result
By following our strategic process and making design intentional, Blackwing is now perceived to be one of the top four go-to brands in the financial chauffeur sector. They have already had meetings with two large European banks and are set up for long term growth.
